This is the Sidekick, and frankly, it’s one of my favorites—a compact fixed blade designed to live up to its name. It perfectly blends the ease of an EDC (Everyday Carry) knife with the capability you need for serious outdoor work, like field dressing an elk. It’s a small workhorse that simply won't quit.
The performance starts with the blade: tough W2 tool steel – with a stone wash finish – known for taking and holding a truly wicked edge. Pairing with the steel is some gorgeous, distinctive black and red dyed box elder burl wood for the handle, secured firmly with highly durable black g10 pins.
The result is a highly functional tool that you'll actually want to carry. It feels right in the hand, looks spectacular, and is built to handle everything you throw at it.
This 2-piece butcher’s set is ready to put in the work – whether you’re processing a deer, breaking down a hog, or just getting serious about your BBQ game.
Included in the set is a 7” fillet knife, perfect for precision work and clean cuts, and a 9” breaking knife that makes quick work of larger cuts while maintaining control.
Both knives are made from AEB-L stainless steel with a working finish, built so you can put them to use without fuss. The handles feature stunning birdseye sheoak scales secured with three stainless steel pins, giving each knife a warm, natural feel in hand with a pop of character you’ll appreciate every time you pick them up.
If you’re looking to step up your processing kit with a handmade set that’s built to perform and built to last, this butcher’s set is ready to be a reliable part of your kit for years to come.
This product comes pre-sharpened and ready for use.
This is my homage to the Samuel Bell coffin handle bowie. The blade is 10 ” long with a 16” overall length. I made the 240 layered Random pattern damascus using 1084/15n20. The ricasso collar, handle spacer, and pommel were all made using wrought iron. The guard has an 800 grit satin finish on the faces, with a mirror polish on the edges. The steel frame of the handle features some decorative rope file work, broken up with gimping at the pommel. The steel liners feature diamond like file work, the handle scales are of some beautiful chocolate colored mammoth, with peened stainless pins. Finishing things off is a 120 layer damascus pommel nut.
*The price of the blade includes shipping insurance.
